What do you think of the new CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify Me! Eyeliner? If you've tried them already, did you have similar results?ĭisclosure: The products featured in this post were provided to me for review purposes, however any opinions expressed above are honest and my own. Want to try these for yourself? Look for them in drugstores nationwide, or online at. I did experience a little bit of fading at the end of a particularly humid day, but nothing too dramatic. And it doesn't flake at all, not one bit. It's fairly waterproof-not 100% smudge-proof, but if you aren't rubbing your eyes it shouldn't be a problem. I doubt this would be an issue for experienced liquid liner users, but it might take a bit of getting used to for newbies.Īs for wearability, I think the Intensify Me! liner holds up great. The other thing you need to watch out for is that the formula is fairly wet straight out of the tube, so you have to be patient and let it dry a bit so you don't end up with a crazy, smeary mess all over your lids. It really feels like I'm drawing on my eye with a marker, which is. One other minor complaint: I wish the brush was a tad softer. Obviously I was able to work around it, but it would have been easier for me if the brush had been narrow all around. I'll be honest with you though: I found the paddle brush shape to be a massive pain in the ass. more like I drew on myself with a marker than laying down a layer of paint (which is what some liquid liners feel like). The formula also feels really light and comfortable on my eyes. But this also helps in not clumping the lashes.I think it looks really good in terms of color intensity-it's pretty darn black and not too glossy. It does have a small learning curve with the twisting of the wand, but nothing complicated. The only downside I have found, is that because it is a voluminous formula, it can easily clump up in the application of the second or third coat, but I have learned to clean my brush a bit more and make the clumping easily avoidable. Best of all I've worn this mascara for 12hrs and I haven't had any flaking or smearing, well only if my eyes get watery for it is the non-waterproof version, but to have pretty lashes with no upkeep during the day, I am in love. It is very black (that is the color I do buy), it does lengthen my lashes quite a bit and it gives them volume, making my lashes stand out. I have been using it for 2 weeks now, and it has become one of my top mascaras. I finally bought it, after hearing so much about it, but after the Milk Makeup Ubame Mascara fiasco, I didn't have high hopes, and I have been pleasantly surprised.
